  1. Finally caught up to this one. I like the idea of the tag-team generals having a pseudo legend rule.
When you're playing tag-team do you track each commander's extra-replay costs separately, or do you use a shared replay cost? I've considered it both ways. If you track both separately, then the pseudo-legend rule is a bigger hit, since it puts both of your guys back to the command zone with +2 to replay.
Have you noticed any shenanigans with allowing one general to be in the graveyard while the other is in play?

  2. Another option I was considering was just treating the Duo-Commanders as a Double-Faced Card with the transform cost of "Pay whatever the other side's CC is at Sorcery Speed ". As it is I was already keeping my tag-team commanders back-to-back in a clear sleeve.
You wouldn't get any ETB effects, you wouldn't have to worry about how to handle re-casting cost effects, or how to keep track of general damage, etc. It would be treated as one card (and hang on to whatever counters, enchantments, etc). It would mean that some commanders wouldn't be as awesome as a tag team (Transforming into Mimeoplasm would be a bummer, but transforming out of it and hanging on to counters could lead to some crazy fun (if Mimeo became Animar...)).

  3. I've gone with this:

    1. General Damage is shared. (Other wise it would be 41 points of GD to finish a player at 40 with no lifegain)

    2. When both Generals are on the same side of the field the most resent General stays while the older one is returned to the Command Zone. (It allows for you to cast one and send the other back to the CMZ)

    3. Casting is socerey speed unless other effects causes it to be other wise. (Legend with flash)

    4. You may only cast one of the General from the CZ per turn but you may cast the same General from the CZ more then once. (Keeps tag combos in check while allowing you to keep casting a General if you have the mana. Wrestling compare- Edge rolls out the ring but is still the legal man.)
