I talked a little bit about the idea of Tag Team generals on the last Commander Cast CallInferno. The way I’ve done it is that your general can Tag-in at the beginning of your Upkeep by paying it’s casting-cost (including any additional costs) as well as the extra additional cost of “put your active general into the command zone”. It doesn’t count as casting the general, and the tagged-out general doesn’t get extra casting cost added in. You couldn’t cast a general if your other general was in a face-up zone other than the command zone (play or graveyard, basically). I built decks around Razia/Jenara and Kresh/Hazezon (and I have Skullbriar/Thraximundar in the works).
ReplyDeleteThanks broham. Sup CallInferno buddy, thanks for the info, that definitely helps in a few sitiations that I kept coming up with in my brain. We may start talkin wise about it again in Episode 6 because we were trying to work through what we would want to happen if one member of the tag team gets mind controlled.
